The findings reveal that the pesantren adheres to the principle of maintaining valuable traditions while embracing beneficial innovations, ensuring a balance between tradition and modernity. The institution also prioritizes the recruitment of qualified educators and integrates formal education with traditional teachings to prepare students for contemporary demands. Skill development initiatives include economic entrepreneurship, bilingual training, annual workshops, and extracurricular activities, designed to empower students in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. However, challenges such as inadequate facilities, financial constraints, limited parental involvement, and student motivation pose obstacles. Despite these hurdles, the pesantren’s proactive strategies and community support have fostered resilience and adaptability, reflecting its commitment to shaping students who are spiritually grounded and globally competent.
